In that location was never any possibility that this Taiwanese Bruceploitation moving picture would ever live up to its Super-Smash-Bros-with-70s-picture-and-TV-characters-in-Hell premise, only at that place are several moments, especially when Lalo Schifrin's Enter the Dragon theme kicks in, when you realize that movies are the best shit ever.
There's also a fleck of Django-Unchained-similar righteous fury going on here, equally "Bruce Lee" takes his revenge on the white Hollywood power construction that treated him so poorly throughout his career.
Idea for a sequel: The Dragon Lives Again Again, in which Bruce gets sent dorsum to Hell, teams upward with Hong Kong Phooey, and has to trounce the shit out of Inspector Clouseau, Frank Bullitt, Indiana Jones, Han Solo, and the kids from Super 8.

If you lot were always in a gas station or a Walmart in the mid-2000s, you probably saw huge barrels of public-domain movies on crappy, inexpensive DVDs. My colleague Justin Decloux and I asked... What if those cheap DVDs were lovingly produced and loaded with special features?
Then, we accept introduced The Of import Movie theater Social club Bargain Bin Classics -- the Criterion Collection of cheap, public-domain home video companies.
Our outset release is THE DRAGON LIVES AGAIN (1977), the classic picture show in which Bruce Lee goes to hell, meets Popeye, and fights James Bail, Dracula, Clint Eastwood, Emmanuelle, Zatoichi, the Godfather, and the Exorcist.
✓ Glorious unrestored one.33:1 transfer

On paper, this has the greatest plot of any film ever. In practice, it's entirely inept but has a sort of amuse virtually it. Information technology's like a game you'd play with your mates every bit a child, pitting your favourite characters against each other.
Q: Who would win in a fight, Bruce Lee or Clint Eastwood?
A: Who do yous fuckin remember?? -
6/10
Shoutout to @system_7 for the request.
Few actor's deaths have devastated their habitation land equally much as Bruce Lee'due south did. For a brief flow of time, his demise left a void in Hong Kong action cinema. To make upward for this, Chinese producers started creating Bruceploitation films, which is a type of action picture show that casts Bruce Lee lookalikes as Bruce Lee. The Dragons Lives Again is one of those films.
It also stars Zatoichi, Popeye, James Bail, and the Homo With No Name. Yeah, information technology's shameless fanfiction that happens to take place in the Chinese version of purgatory, and that's what information technology makes it so enjoyable. It'southward light-headed and logically incoherent, just goddamn, the final two fight scenes make this moving picture worth it.

Bruce Lee is expressionless and has to fight Zatochi, James Bond, Dracula, Clint Eastwood, and motherfucking Popeye in some limbo earth. Emmanuelle and The Exorcist (in the form of a man with a French accent) are at that place, too. It'southward not a skilful movie just information technology doesn't really matter considering how practise you not want to lookout this?

Bail-a-thon - Bond B-Sides
After Bruce Lee died in 1973, fans across the world were in mourning. The Hong Kong manufacture was quick to cash in and brand films in the great human being's name and image. But trust me when I say no other Bruceploitation flick is quite like this one...
The film shows immediate reverence for the man by sending him to Hell and starting with a scene that is essentially all virtually his penis. Bruce Lee is all the same to wake in his new dwelling in The Underworld but information technology appears he has a whacking bully big boner. On closer inspection though he's not pleased to meet the underworld information technology'due south but his nunchuks.
In the underworld Bruce Lee (Bruce…

Bruce Lee is expressionless! He travels to Hell and fights some of the evilest people around. James Bond, The Godfather, The Exorcist, Clint Eastwood, Emmanuelle, Dracula, Popeye - all played by a talented swarm of Chinese actors. That's right, another Bruceploitation film! What a hilariously good, bad picture. It's evidently a rushed production on a shoestring budget, but you lot have to admire some of the ideas, choreography, and the sheer gall of it all. As I get more and more versed in Kung Fu cinema, the unlike fighting styles are still difficult to get to grips with. That being said, The Dragon Lives Again features fighting techniques called 'Blind domestic dog pisses' and 'Blind guy kills musquito'; I won't be forgetting those anytime soon.

Bruce Lee demolishes Dracula with his dick, which wears a shoe.
Three stars.

A unique biopic in that it follows Bruce Lee after he died. Most biopics focus on life but these guys retrieve exterior the box! And you lot know what? They may take had a point. In life, Lee may have faced down racism and prejudice and became the biggest thing ever. To detect out, from this flick, in expiry, Bruce had to liberate the afterlife from known evil bullies: James Bond, Clint Eastwood, The Godfather, Zatoichi, Emmanuel, The Exorcist, Dracula, and an ground forces of mummies and skeletons. Even though he is Bruce Lee, he can't take down such a formidable group lone. Luckily a few friends are there to aid...
I know what you're proverb: 'why should I spotter a pic…

Slap a pair of aviators on a dude in a tank top, and he's Bruce Lee.
Call some jabronie "The Exorcist," and he'south The Exorcist.
Requite a guy a scarf, and he's "The Godfather."
Welcome to the (nether)earth of The Dragon Lives Again. A magical place where Bruce Lee's then badd, all the hellspawn of Hollyweird conspire to take him downwards. I'm a big fan of baddies plotting in an extravagant lounge/lair/cavern, and the scenes of "Godfather," "Exorcist," James Bail, Emmanuelle, "Clint Eastwood," and Zatoichi hatching their obviously to degrade Bruce as the Big Expressionless Boss really delivered the delicious evil-and-loving-it bile.
Certain, the broad and awkward Hong Kong sex activity comedy hijinks drag and well-nigh 3 sparse sets comprise The…

"This film is dedicated to millions who love Bruce Lee."
This is the crème de la crème of Brucesploitation flicks, a surreal mind fuck of a movie that can't decide if it's a parody, an action moving picture, or a sexploitation romp. The gist is that after Bruce Lee died, played here past Bruce Leung Siu-lung, his soul goes to Underworld and he ends up under the rule of the and so-chosen King of the Underworld. The King is a huge fan of Bruce and wants him to be his bodyguard simply Bruce refuses. Bruce isn't without allies in Hell though, equally he befriends Popeye (played by Eric Tsang who went on to take a very successful career), Kwai Chang Caine from…
